“The City in Silhouette” won the City of Lausanne’s Official Chocolate 2023-2025 Award.
Awarded to Confiserie Christian Boillat, the prize recognizes an original creation that is a credit to the town. The silhouette, representing the monuments of Lausanne, is coated in a thin layer of 71% dark chocolate, contrasting with the texture of the almond gianduja.
The competition also reflects the city’s commitment to the values of sustainability and proximity. Particular attention has been paid to eco-friendly packaging and the use of fair-trade raw materials, enhanced by local know-how.
Offered as gifts at meetings and official events, chocolate also contributes to the city’s reputation and visibility.
